Poor Cinderella is forced to work and clean all day. Actually, Z volunteered to vaccuum the couch…she thought it was fun (for about 5 minutes). Plus, she was stoked to find all kinds of interesting things in there. It was like Christmas all over again.
My Little Cinderella
Science Experiment #1 – Lever
In this experiment, Z shows how a simple lever can be used to catapult her stuffed panda into the air. We played with various weights and sizes of stuffed animals, as well as different amounts of force until she came up with just the right combination to launch the “subject” so she could catch it. (I should note that you should use soft toys for this experiment and always launch AWAY from the flat panel TV!)
New Year’s Day
It was a perfect day at the beach. Z practiced riding her bike and we played soccer on the sand. The only problem was that Z would rather sit on the ball and hatch it like an egg than kick it. Ah, good times! (Pretty goofy music I added on this vid!)
Halloween 2009
Z dressed up as a “Vampiress”–whatever that is. Iz was a pumpkin. They both stayed up waaay too late and we all had waaay to much candy. Click here for the pics on picasa.
Lions and Tigers and Build-A-Bears
Z is all about Build-A-Bears. She loves them for herself and she loves buying them for other people. Yesterday, she told me she wanted to buy Poppa a Build-A-Bear and give it to the mailman so that when he dies he can deliver it to dad in heaven (poor mailman!). Thanks to Grandpa Art and Grammy Sue for sending over a new BAB outfit and front pack so Z can carry her BAB wherever she goes. They also sent this adorable mini BAB for Iz. So cute!!!
The girls love books
Big sis loves reading stories to Izzy. As you can see, Iz is clearly engaged in the story. Many thanks to my boss for sending these great books. Boytons are some of my favorite stories to read them at bedtime.
Z Goes to Kindergarten
It’s official. Miss Z is now a kindergartener. She was really excited and already knew several kids in her class. She looooooves her teacher. I think she has this kgarten thing wired. She’s such a big kid now (sigh). Click here for more pics.
